Everton’s Premier League points deduction reduced to six on appeal

Everton’s penalty for breaching Premier League financial rules has been reduced from 10 points to six after an appeal. The club were immediately docked 10 points in November for breaking profit and sustainability rules (PSR) in the three-year period to 2021-22. The reduction lifts them from 17th to 15th, although the club is facing another possible points deduction.

Everton appoint Sean Dyche as new manager

Everton have confirmed the appointment of former Burnley boss Sean Dyche as their new manager on a two-and-a-half-year contract. Dyche is the seventh permanent manager hired by Toffees owner Farhad Moshiri since he took over the club nearly seven years ago and he is tasked with helping them avoid relegation.
