AC Milan have officially announced Sergio Conceicao as their new head coach, replacing Paulo Fonseca who was dismissed earlier on Monday. The 50 year old former Portugal international left his position as Porto manager after a trophy laden seven year spell in the summer and takes charge of a Milan side that sit eight in Serie A and 12th in the UEFA Champions League. His first game will be against Juventus in the Supercoppa Italiana.

AC Milan have sacked manager Paulo Fonseca after just six months in charge following their 1-1 draw at home to Roma.The result left the seven-time European champions in eighth place in the Serie A table, 14 points adrift of joint-leaders Atalanta and Napoli.
