Leeds add to West Ham’s early season woes

Leeds claimed their first Premier League win at home since the opening day of the season to pile on the problems for dismal West Ham. The result lifted Daniel Farke’s men up to 13th in the table, while the visitors remain second bottom after a seventh loss in nine league games. Electric Elanga haunts United with winner for Forest

Nottingham Forest moved closer to realising their Champions League dream as Anthony Elanga’s solo strike defeated his former club Manchester United. The winger, who joined United as a 12-year-old, sprinted 70 yards before finishing into the bottom corner to catch the visitors cold with an early winner. He joined Forest from United for £15m in 2023, in search of regular football, and continued his excellent season against his former club.
