Wolves have sacked manager Gary O’Neil in the wake of Saturday’s 2-1 defeat by Ipswich Town. Referee David Coote has had his employment terminated following the emergence of a video where he made derogatory remarks about Liverpool and their former manager Jurgen Klopp. PGMOL confirmed the decision in a statement saying that a thorough investigation had concluded he was “in serious breach of the provisions of his employment contract, with his position deemed untenable”.
