Chelsea have sacked manager Graham Potter after less than seven months in charge following Saturday’s 2-0 home defeat by Aston Villa. It was the Englishman’s 11th defeat in 31 games since replacing Thomas Tuchel at Stamford Bridge on 8 September.

Chelsea have completed the signing of Ukraine forward Mykhailo Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk. The winger was a long time target of Arsenal with the Gunners in talks to sign him however the Blues moved quickly to pay the asking price set by the Ukrainian club to bring him to Stamford Bridge.

João Félix joins Chelsea on loan from Atletico Madrid

Chelsea have signed Atletico Madrid striker Joao Felix on loan for the rest of the season for a fee of €11 million. Felix, 23, has also signed a one-year extension to his Atletico contract until June 2027. Boss Graham Potter said injuries had “sharpened” Chelsea’s focus in their pursuit of the Portugal international, with Christian Pulisic ruled out for a couple of months.

Chelsea have appointed Graham Potter as their new manager with the 47 year old signing a 5 year contract at Stamford Bridge. Potter takes over just 24 hours after the sacking of Thomas Tuchel, the Blues are believed to have paid Brighton €16m in compensation for Potter.

Chelsea have this morning announced that they have parted company with manager Thomas Tuchel. The 49 year old German took charge of the Blues in January 2021 leading them to the Champions League title that year but a poor start to the season culminating in last night’s shock defeat to Dinamo Zagreb has resulted in his dismissal.
