Verstappen eases to victory at US Grand Prix

Red Bull’s Max Verstappen dominated the United States Grand Prix to increase the pressure on McLaren drivers Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris in the championship. Norris and Piastri finished second and fifth, with Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton between them. Briton Norris cut Piastri’s championship lead to 14 points with five races remaining, while Verstappen reduced his deficit to the Australian to 40 points.

Verstappen storms to pole ahead of US Grand Prix

Red Bull’s Max Verstappen beat McLaren’s Lando Norris to pole position at the United States Grand Prix with championship leader Oscar Piastri down in sixth. After the McLaren drivers crashed out of the sprint earlier on Saturday, neither was able to challenge Verstappen even though the world champion failed to complete a final run in qualifying. Verstappen was sent out too late to get around in time to start a last lap before the chequered flag but still beat Norris by 0.291 seconds.

Verstappen wins Sprint in Austin as McLarens collide

Red Bull’s Max Verstappen eased to victory in the sprint race at the United States Grand Prix ahead of Mercedes’ George Russell and the Williams of Carlos Sainz. McLaren team-mates and title rivals Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris crashed out in a dramatic collision just after the start. Piastri bounced into Norris after clipping the Sauber of Nico Hulkenberg, taking both out of the race. Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso was also taken out by the incident.

Verstappen edges Norris to take Sprint pole in Austin

Red Bull’s Max Verstappen beat McLaren’s title rivals Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri to take pole for the sprint race at the United States Grand Prix. Verstappen, with the very last lap of the session, displaced Norris at the top of the timesheets by 0.071 seconds in Austin. Piastri, leading Norris by 22 points in the championship with six races to go, was 0.309secs behind his team-mate. Sauber’s Nico Hulkenberg was a sensational fourth.

Leclerc leads home dominant Ferrari 1-2 at US GP

Charles Leclerc impressively won the United States Grand Prix in a surprisingly-dominant one-two for Ferrari as Lando Norris lost third place to title rival Max Verstappen after being penalised for a late overtake on his F1 title rival. While Ferrari overcame the championship’s top two and front-row starters in a supreme show of speed as Leclerc led home team-mate Carlos Sainz, all eyes ended up still being on the title protagonists as they duelled over the final podium berth in a gripping, tense and ultimately controversial conclusion to the race.
