Nico Hulkenberg to join Sauber from Haas in 2025

Nico Hulkenberg will join the Sauber team for the 2025 season before their transformation into the factory Audi team in 2026. The 36-year-old German is the first driver to sign for Audi as they build up to their debut season in Formula 1. Their other prime target is Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz who is yet to sign for the 2025 season after he lost his seat at Ferrari to Lewis Hamilton.

Christian Horner will continue in his role as Red Bull team principal after allegations of inappropriate behaviour made against him were dismissed. The 50-year-old was placed under investigation by the F1 team’s Austrian parent company Red Bull GmbH after allegations were made against him by a female colleague.

A hearing into a complaint of inappropriate behaviour made against Red Bull Formula 1 team boss Christian Horner will take place on Friday. Red Bull said it took the allegations “extremely seriously” when they emerged on Monday and started an investigation. Horner, 50, has won six constructors’ championships with Red Bull since becoming team principal in 2005.

Lewis Hamilton to leave Mercedes joining Ferrari in 2025

Seven-time F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton will make a sensational switch from Mercedes to Ferrari next year on a multi-year contract, a move he called “one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make”. Hamilton has raced for the Silver Arrows since the 2013 season and has won six of his seven world titles with the team, adding to the crown he achieved at McLaren earlier in his career.
