Verstappen takes commanding win at Belgian Sprint Race

Red Bull’s Max Verstappen held off the McLarens of Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris to win a tense sprint race at the Belgian Grand Prix. Verstappen passed Piastri on the opening lap with a slipstream up the long Kemmel straight and used his Red Bull’s straight-line advantage to hold the Australian at arm’s length for the entire 15 laps. Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc finished in P4 ahead of the Haas of Esteban Ocon.

Piastri powers to pole ahead of Sprint race in Belgium

McLaren’s Oscar Piastri produced a breathtaking performance to set pole position for the sprint race at the Belgian Grand Prix. The Australian, the world championship leader, was 0.477 seconds quicker than Red Bull’s Max Verstappen and 0.618secs ahead of team-mate and title rival Lando Norris.
