Inter Milan and manager Simone Inzaghi have parted company “by mutual agreement” three days after their Champions League final thrashing by Paris St-Germain. The 49-year-old, who was appointed by the Serie A club in 2021, has been heavily linked with Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal. “The time has come for me to say goodbye to this club after a four-year journey, during which I gave everything,” said Inzaghi, who won six trophies with Inter.

Massimiliano Allegri was named AC Milan’s new coach on Friday, charged with restoring to glory the crisis-hit team that he won Serie A with nearly 15 years ago. Allegri replaces Sergio Conceicao, who was fired on Thursday after guiding Milan to an eighth-placed finish in Serie A that left the Rossoneri out of Europe.

AC Milan have sacked coach Sergio Conceicao after just six months in charge of the Serie A club. Former manager Massimiliano Allegri – who spent four years in charge at San Siro between 2010 and 2014 – is reportedly set, external for a return. Conceicao, 50, was handed the job last December after the the sacking of Paulo Fonseca and signed an 18-month deal which included a break clause in June 2025 which has now been activated.

Juventus have sacked manager Thiago Motta after just nine months in charge and replaced him Croatian Igor Tudor. Former Italy international Motta, 42, departs with the 36-time Serie A champions one point outside the Champions League qualification places in fifth. Manchester City defender Kyle Walker has joined AC Milan on loan for the rest of the season. The deal for the 34-year-old includes an option for the Serie A club to make the move permanent in the summer. Right-back Walker informed City of his wish to leave the club and seek opportunities abroad earlier this month.
