Premier League winner Jamie Vardy will leave Leicester after 13 seasons at the end of the current campaign, the club have announced. The 38-year-old England striker, a key member of the team which lifted the title against the odds in 2016, will depart with almost 500 appearances for the club to his name in the wake of a relegation he has described as “such a s*** show”.

Southampton sack manager Ivan Jurić following relegation

Southampton have reached an agreement with manager Ivan Juric to leave following relegation from the Premier League on Sunday. Juric was appointed as Russell Martin’s successor on an 18-month deal in December but has won just two of his 16 matches. Manchester United have confirmed up to 200 more jobs may be made redundant at the club as cuts continue while free lunches for staff at Old Trafford set to end.
